Tomasina Luis-Nunez, 72, of Saddle Brook, passed away on March 5, 2026. Before retiring Tomasina was a Data Entry Clerk for Sciolex in Newark, NJ. Beloved wife of Rafael Nunez. Devoted mother of Katiria Avila, Adam Nunez and mother-in-law to David Avila. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Nicholas Avila. Cherished sister of Jose Sanchez, Javiera Dujarric, and Antonina Dujarric. Tomasina is also survived by many more friends and family. Barry Paul Basile, May 2, 1958 - February 28, 2026

Barry Paul Basile, a lifelong resident of Maywood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully. Born on May 2, 1958, Barry was a true “Maywoodian” through and through, spending his entire life in the community he loved. Barry was a graduate of Hackensack High School. He later dedicated more than 30 years to the Basile family business, Plumb & Level in Maywood, where he worked alongside his father, Vince Basile. Later, he continued his strong work ethic with more than a decade of service at Maywood Furniture. Known affectionately as “The Bear,” Barry will be remembered for his steady presence, loyalty, and the deep bonds he shared with his family and the many friends who were fortunate to know him. He was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, and he also enjoyed following NASCAR. Barry is survived by his sister, Bonnie MacKenzie and her husband Doug; his brothers, Bruce Basile and his wife Lori, and Brad Basile and his wife Sue Dyrness; and his nephew, Robyn MacKenzie. Dolores Cromwell, (nee Wierzbicki), 96, of Maywood passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Before retiring, Dolores worked for Stepan Chemical as an Import/ Export specialist. She was a Member of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C Church in Maywood since 1959. Dolores served as a Eucharistic minister in church and to the home bound. She was also involved with the RCIA, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Bereavement Ministry and was also a member of the Associates of Saint Lucy Filippini. She was also very active in Our Lady Queen of Peace school where her children attended. As a young girl Dolores enjoyed horseback riding and also be came an

accomplished classical pianist. She was also an avid skier who enjoyed many trips to Vermont with her family. Summers were usually spent on Cape Cod and the Jersey Shore with her extended family. Some of her favorite things to do was listening to classical music and attending operas at the MET. Dolores always had time for her family, except between the hours of 7:00-7:30pm which was her dedicated time to watch Jeopardy. Among her many talents, she loved to crochet, knit and was an amazing seamstress, who often made clothes for herself and her children. Loving mother to her son, William (Janice) Cromwell, and daughter, Linda Kudera (Jim Phillips) beloved grandmother of Thomas, Katelyn, Robert, Jeffrey, Kristin, and

great-grandmother to Carmen. Predeceased by brother, Raymond Wierzbicki and her loving husband, William. W. Cromwell Jr. Family and friends visited on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service held March 4, 2026 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Avenue, Maywood, NJ. Interment followed at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
